from what folks are saying...yes, even one inch drop will affect camber.

This was a question I was going to ask as well for my coupe. Dont get me wrong, Ive done quite a bit of looking up the information, but some things still arent crisp clear to me. From what Ive read, those who have installed the tein basics have also swapped out:

camber kit (rears are a must, fronts are optional depending on drop?)
toe kit?
control arms?
A Arms?

Can someone with the tein basics installed on their ride please list out exactly what is needed to not have to worry about camber/toe/alignment issues?? and possibly where to find them? I'll definitely check the forum vendors. I plan on lowering about 1.00" -1.25"

Oh I was planning on getting the Eibach Camber kit since its the same as the SPC, but cheaper in cost. Is the toe kit included or separate?

So after you have everything on, obviously we can do an alignment to get the camber and toe kit into spec... like 'engs12' asked, do we need to allow settling time?

I'll definitely take Andy's suggestion for sway bars into consideration at a later time

Drops past .8" will not align to be within oem specs. Many find that it's "close" enough that they can't justify the cost to correct the front. Since the rear is much cheaper to correct that end of the car get's corrected most offten.

Dropped mine .8" front and back and have not needed a camber kit for over 50,000 miles, just have it aligned once a year and go from there, and yes they did manage to get it back to factory specs on the fronts and pretty darn close on the rears also.

No matter if someone has basics or is dropped with some other product, if your dropped past 1", your going to need aftermarket stuff to get back to oem specs.

Tein's recommended drop for Basics on a G coupe is 1.5"/.9"

Front the front camber correction can come in the form of several different kit's. SPL, SPC, Cusco and 350EVO come to mind. For the rear, make sure if your going with the Eibach kit that you go with the kit that has camber arms AND toe cam bolts, some kits are only the toe cam bolts.

those are perfect for the rears. i would also invest in some arms for the front imo. there's no way to adjust camber with oem arms. i'm lowered with z htechs about .8" and i'm already out of spec although slightly. i just ordered some 350evo arms...as soon as i get them i'm changing to tein basics and going 1" drop front and rear.

Okay so this is what Im supposed to get to compensate the lowering on tein basics:

Rears:
https://g35driver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=114693

Fronts:
Eibach Camber AND Toe kit
Front A Arms (Cusco or 350EVO)

Am I missing anything? Are there any other options? or even eibachs all around?

Thanks in advance!

either go with eibach or spc for the rears....those are the camber and toe kits. the fronts are the a arms. for the fronts, you might not want to get cusco's. the range for positive camber adjustments are very limited; it's more for negative camber. i'd go with either spc or 350evo but the evo's are not cheap.

So the fronts will not require a "camber and toe kit" but the A Arms will do the job?

I've been wanting to go with the Basics too, but wasn't really planning on lowering, as I think my stock height is good enough. Just want tighter suspension. So one can expect to lower up to 0.8" without requiring camber correction?
