Help Need New Pads? what do you think about centric?

For regular driving what are the best brake pads? Looking at Hawk and Akebono ProACT Ceramic Pads. Anyone know any other brands or if either of those brands will work better than the OEM.

Also if changing the brake pads do i need to replace the rotors, if so what are the best rotors for the money. Thansk

endless vita nuova's here! but to answer your question about the rotors....you do not have to change the rotors when swapping pads. but you should inspect your rotors and look for obvious signs of wear or cracking. if you have a dial/vernier caliper, you should also measure the thickness to ensure that it is in spec...if not, you should get new rotors.

I have Hawk HPS's for my brembos. I will be going with Project Mu's next time for sure. There is a LONGGGGGGG break in period for the HPS's for noise. I'm hoping that mine are finally all noised out lol

Also did I make a good choice?
