How many miles did you get out of your pads? 2005+

I'm just about at the 31k mark on my 2005 and wondering when you all are changing your pads?

I'm starting to hear a sqeek here and there and noticing some pulsation in the steering wheel when breaking.

At how many miles did you guys change your pads and what pads did you use? OEM?

i'm at 34k on my sedan (same brakes) and i've got 7/32nds left in the front and 6 in the rear. My rotors are warped as i can feel the pulsation at any speed of applying the brakes and i have 2 hot spots on the LF rotor. Nothing i cant machine out of it when i cut the rotors though. I'll prolly change them at 40k just for the hell of it.

I got 25k out of my front pads on my '05 coupe. I replaced with OEM last month, and got the rotors resurfaced (of course)

I just swapped my pads, rotors and lines 2 weeks ago at about 25000 miles.

I had a terrible vibration under braking....assume it was warped rotors.

anyway, the pads had tons of life left in them!!!!!

I went with R1 premium rotors, project Mu B-force pads, goodridge lines, and motul fluid.

I'm at approx 27K...

I'm starting to get pretty nasty shimmy under braking now, should I just get the rotors cut and replace pads or is there a cost effective alternative to the stock brakes. I'm not considering BBK, but after finding out that 05 X models got the old 11.7" front rotors (and single piston caliper) I'm considering a upgrade.

Any opions so far on the R1 rotors????

just got through with the brakes on my 05 sport non-brembo. had a hell of a time getting pads as they are not the same as other 35s. had to call infiniti to run VIN just to find out. grrr. anyway only got 12000 miles 3-4 mm pad material front 1-2 mm rear. all rotors overheated a spit out surface metal off. amazingly all were good to turn. guess i shouldnt drive it like my sti lol
