Brake pedal too high and/or gas pedal too low
First off, I hope I chose the correct forum for this.
I picked up an 07 G35C/AT with the sports package (aluminum pedals are the issue here) a couple of weeks ago. Everything was great, loved the ride, and then suddenly I started having problems moving my foot from the gas pedal to the brake.
My first question is: is it normal for the brake pedal to be higher than the gas pedal in this car? I could almost swear that this issue did not exist for the first 400 miles or so. Now when I move my foot to the left it almost gets caught under the brake pedal.
Which leads me to my next issue: My foot keeps hitting the underside of the console when I go to hit the brakes. I have size 13 feet, but have been wearing the same shoes the entire time I've owned the car. Yet another issue I could swear was not happening before 2 days ago (which is another clue that perhaps the pedal really is higher now).
Is the brake pedal typically adjustable? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks much.
