Offset Question...

I currently have stock OEM 18" that run 30mm offsets. The rims I am looking at are 40mm offsets. Will this be a problem? I do not have the Brembo package.

how wide are the wheels?

regardless of the width, those wheels you are looking at are going to be super tucked. without spacers, they will look silly.

18x7.5 is thinner than the stock wheels and the offset is too high, they'll look retarded

yeh, 7.5 is pretty whimmpy (no offense).

an offset higher than stock on wheels thinner than stock is going to look just plain silly.

I figured as much, but was curious. Keeping on the rims I want to get I have to bump up to 19x8 which means I would have to get new tires. Not what I want to do since the ones I have are maybe 2 months old.
