installing slotted rotors, which way?!
i bought stop tech slotted rotors for my 04' and they have to go on to the car a certain way for directional purposes. the rotors are marked L/R but, do they mean left side from inside the car, or standing in front of it using your left hand which would make it the passenger side. im thinking driver side= left side. any clues?

first pic is of the front driver side installed. now, of all the slotted rotors that ive ever seen the slots face the other way. my know it all buddy also said that they put them that way to pull air from the center of the rotor through the slots and yadda, yadda, yadda. dont know about that cuz as far as i know the slots are strictly to escape the gases that build up between the rotor and pad under hard or extended braking periods.
second pic is of the driver side rotor prior to installation next to the stock rotor and you can clearly see on the white sticker that the rotor is infact marked L for left.
this pic is of the passenger rear note the way the slots are facing
this last pic is of the passenger rear prior to installation also clearly marked with an R for right.
im thinking its right. the only way it would be wrong is if the guy at stop tech was taking bong tokes on his lunch and mis-labeled my rotors. OR, my friend is correct and the slots on the rotors are supposed to face the other way for a reason. and im only taking this into consideration because all the slotted rotors ive ever seen in my life, the slots did face the other way.
