I believe so. Not 100% sure. I know the 05 X has the older brakes.

Might check the Stoptech or Stillen site and see if they list the same part number for those two.

I think they are since the brakes on all 2003 thru 2004 G35 sedans were the same size. Wasn't until 2005 that Infiniti switched to bigger brakes on the RWD sedan the G35x has the same brakes as the 2003 thru 2004 models.

thanks boys. that's the answer i got in the other thread too, so i think i'm in luck.

i'm a mechanic up in ottawa, and i'm visiting toronto this weekend and doing the brakes on my mom's 05 AWD G while i'm there. my parts guy didn't have exact infiniti parts listings so i took a gamble on '04 non-brembo sedan pads + rotots.

i've been crossreferncing for the last half hour, but good call on the stoptech and stillen sites. i'll head there now.

I hope I caught you in time. Please check your other thread, to which I have replied. the '05-'06 brakes are very different from the '03-'04 brakes.

My apologies for that. The '05 G35X was an odd ball, having been excluded from the new brake upgrade for all other 2005 models.
