Hey,

I installed some tein basics in my car about a week or two ago and its been making a thud/clanking noise since I did it. I installed them on a buddies G35 and his dont make noises.

I've pulled the tire off and checked every bolt involved twice and everything is tight and secure...

Any idea? The car is still under warranty but I'm afraid if I take it there they will say its because of the basics and void it.

when does the noise happen.

do you have aftermarket a arms? when i had my car aligned recently the place accidently put the a arm back on upside down. and this gave me a thud noise when i hit a bump. in my case this was possible because the end can rotate 360 degrees, allowing the arm to be put on upside down by accident. if you have stock arms that is not possible though.

 

Stock a arms...only makes the noise on a bump of a decent size

 

How far are you lowered, slammed?

 

Nah its not slammed...maybe an inch in the front and 3 quaters of an inch in the rear
