Hey all hope everyone is well

I just bought a used 2003 g35 coupe, i have 2 issues if i can get some help with

1. when i turn the car off after driving it for a bit i hear alot ticks and noises coming from the bottom of the car it eventually stops is this normal? the car might be just hot??

2. i been told the rotors and breaks needs to be replaced and when i break i hear some noises coming from the back i assume this is due to the breaks correct??

any help is apreciated

well a little squeaking when stopping at a light and i have the windows down i can hear it whenever i hit the breaks.. i guess squeaking/light grinding noise would best describe it

 

ticks are normal and you need a brake change and probably new rotors due to the grinding noise.

 

The noise you hear is your catalytic converter. It's normal. As for your brakes, the 2003 autos are infamous for eating up brakes. So get used to changing them often. If you are hearing squealing noises, then it's time to get new pads and maybe rotors. Hope this helps.
