Noob wheel question.
Noob wheel question.
I just got my 06 G coupe last week and I've been trying to learn as much about it as I can.
I have a question about getting some new wheels. My car has the factory 17" wheels on it so I am guessing it does not have the sport suspension. I plan on doing some suspension upgrades later on but right now I am looking at putting some 19's on it.
What if anything do I need to do to the car to put 19's on it? Can I just bolt them on and go? Will it affect the handling in bad way if I wait to do the suspension mods?
I'm trying to decide on the which brand of wheels this week. I want to get them on before summer is over.
I am a former C5 vette owner and know everything about those cars but this little guy has me stumped in some areas.

19's in the correct offset and tire sizes will require no mods to fit. for the front, the most popular setups are 19x8.5-9.5 with offsets in the +25 to +15 range. Tires usually used are 245/35/19 and 255/35/19. For the rear 19x9.5-10.5 are most common w/ offsets in the +30-+15 range. Tires commonly used are 275/35/19 and 285/35/19
