1. it's a little messy when draining
2. you can still get to the drain plug with tools
3. tie bar & fstb are not equal
4. get both the fstb & the lower tie bar if you can. They work together to lessen body flex.

I agree....I love my GT Spec bars... I just use an open end wrench to change the oil as a socket wrench won't fit...

Never used a tq wrench on the drain plug, and no, there is no room for it.
