spl endlinks install

How long should i make my adjustable sways when i install them?

How do i go about doing this with only 2 jack stands and a jack? I've got air tools and stuff too.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I found that using ramps makes it easier to install the links. Everything you need is from underneath the car so you don't need to take off wheels.

Anyone know if i can just uninstall the stock endlinks, and measure the length and make the adjustable endlinks the same length?

Any help would be great. I don't have ramps, and i also don't want to have to give my money to some alignment shop to install these.

helpppppp

Yep you can if that's the length you want them at. But you are dropped so I would imagine that you would want it shorter. You might still need to use a ramp though if that's what you are trying to avoid. I had to anyways. Good thing I had some.

i don't know about adjusting the length of the end links, but if you have air tools a jack and 2 jack stands is enough.

jacking the car up and putting both sides onto stands won't make the car uneven, and therefor the links would be different lengths?

not if you're putting the jack stands on your frame jack points. and you jack it up from the diff. as long as you're not messin with any suspension geometry you're good.

i have no clue what you're trying to do now. when i got my sway bars installed, my car was on a lift. i would assume that you could replace the end links at the same time. i don't know about adjustable length ones and how they should be installed.

Instructions from SPL suggests that you install one side first then with the car on the ground, adjust the length of the other side to get rid of as much preload on the endlinks and bar as possible. I had to put it on stands anyways because we couldn't access the nuts since some of my suspension parts blocked the way with the wheels hanging free.
