What would be cheaper?

Sup!

I think I wanna switch my rims up a little bit... First off, for some unknown reason they built up rust in certain areas and I was also very unfourtunate on a previous visit through the bank drive-thru and accumulated a little bit of curve rash.....

Now... I've always wanted black rims so I thought about selling my Zenettis for as much as I could and jumping on something black with chrome lips but I also thought, maybe I could repair my rims you know have them re-chromed if possible on the areas that accumulated rust ( which happen to be the corners of some of the spokes ) and also have them painted black...

I love my rims so if I don't have to sell them I'll keep them. My question is what would be my least expansive option? Having them repaired and the spokes painted gloss black or buying a new set of rims?

if you really like your rims, then I would suggest to chrome the lips again, and have the rims powdercoated whatever color you want

I think powdercoating/chroming the rim is about 150-200 for each rim
