Ings+1 Kit with Tein S-Techs

I wanna get Tein S-Techs soon but I'm planning to eventually get the Ings+1 set. Does anyone know if this is a bad idea for scraping or anything?

If I have the oem lip on right now while Ings kit be okay? I know on the data lip the holes on the oem is too high so i'd have to get my bumper filled and stuff.

Please help...I do not know much about body kits because I have never bought one. Once the kit comes in how it is installed? Any drilling or filling? What did you do with the OEM side skirts? How do you get the front lip molded (like this middle picture: https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...ngs+kit+%2B1)? Did they match your paint or did you repaint the whole vehicle?

I was not going to buy a kit, but I saw yours and it made me think.

Thanks for your help,
B

Hey Bud,

I'm not a body shop expert, but I know enough to help you out:

1.) The Body Shop will install the kit (which ever body kit piece you want them to install of course - ie. Front Lip, Side Skirts, Rear Diffuser etc). The kit that you buy most likely will come will all the necessary hardware (screws, 3M tape, etc etc) and proper installation instructions.

2.) The Body Shop (if a good body shop) can & will "Color Match" the aero pieces to match the paint of your car - no re-painting of the entire vehicle necessary

3.) If you ask the Body Shop, they can "Mold" the aero piece, like the INGS+1 lip into the pre-exsiting OEM bumper. I believe this will just be more work (ie. Labor hours = More $$$).

I hope this helps you out buddy. Enjoy your G!

Man just when I finally put it in my head I am done dumping money into my coupe you post that pic of your ride and got me thinking differently now. Awesome setup it looks great though I think the NJ roads would eat that kit alive that low :/

yeah the bodyshop will remove your old stock sideskirts and install the new ones. They will colormatch to your car, they DO NOT need to paint your whole car.
