I realize this sounds like a dumb question but I'd like a better method than 'eyeball' to check front and rear ride heights. Is there a specific reference you guys use? The tops of the bumpers perhaps?

I'm getting ready to do the 'spring mount mod' and want to get it right the first time.

I thought it was center of wheel to fender cut? I'm sure either way will work better than an eyeball check

Yeah either way would work. Also make sure you're tire pressures are correct.

Ah, yard stick. Good idea... much better than flimsy tape measure.
