is there a solution to this? the rotors look all dry and i have to drive for a little and brake and then its back to normal.

is there anything i can spray on it or keep it from looking like crap?

the name of the product and the place where i can get it would be helpful

Um rotors + iron + rain = rust. Nothing you can do.

My rotors get all rusty looking when I wash my car. No big deal, it's gone after the first stop.

Get zinc plated rotors = no rust, all the major players sell them.

After a week I don't drive hard at ALL. I go to work and back. That's about 3.5 miles a day.

Brake rotors are most likely made of carbon steel. Steel with any content of water will eventually rust.

Plating won't work either, because plating will only "coat" the outer portion of the rotor. Plating will wear.

rotors rust with rain/water no matter how great/expensive they are. U just have to drive a little with hard breaking to get it off.

My endless/zeal rotors appear to "rust" after a car wash-even in the slooted areas, but one quit drive and they look fresh.

Rotors don't need to be pretty to be effective.

The Zinc plated rotors will stay cleaner around the non-contact areas (vents, hat, edges). The friction surface will still show some light rust after rain, but this comes off quickly and will look 'shiny' again.

Thats the first upgrade I get on almost any car I buy... I hate that worn brown edge on OEM rotors.
