are there official numbers for alignments?

anyone know the specific alignment specs my G should be in? i want to take it to the infiniti dealer, but i work til 5 and the nearest dealer is an hr and half away... so its pretty rough trying to get there even when i take 2 hrs off bc of traffic

id like to just take it to a local tire shop and have them align but afraid theyll do it out of spec unless i give them exactly what i want

Alignment numbers are static misalignment numbers which are designed to optimize 55-70 mph rolling resistance.

Suspension bushings deform from the momentum of car driving forward so the engineers develop wrong static numbers that become right at speed.

Nominal numbers are what the engineers want but for warranty purposes they include a wider range that should be acceptable for the average driver and car. This wider range acccounts for some bushing age and wear and tear.

Important to have an accurate set of brand new readings that way you can see the periodic changes from driving stress and to better gauge when suspenion components need replacing.

On a new car don't accept in the manufacturers range try for nominal!
