Stillen Rotors - Just DBAs

FYI, I just bought a pair of slotted Stillen rotors. It turns out they are nothing more than repackaged DBA 4000 series rotors. You can buy these from Tirerack for $68. less than buying them from Stillen. Live and learn.

Unfortunately, Nick is right. If you're going to spend a great deal of money on an aftermarket product definitely look into the manufacturer's of the product. A lot of products just get renamed and marketed as a "better product" due to it's branded name... Well you can say the same for just about anything for that matter!

Looking at the rotors after I bought them, I saw DBA 4059 stamped on the edge of the rotor. After checking the DBA website, sure enough, 4059 is the correct part number for my G35 model.

I heard Stillen sway bars are manufactured by Eibach and headers by DC Sports.

I would stay away from Stillen on most products because you can find the same or better quality for less. You are paying a lot for the name.

How much do the rotors weigh vs stock if you don't mind me asking?

They are going to be pretty close Sean. There won't be a weight diff inbetween rotors unless you go 2pc.

Oh are they still one peice rotors? I didn't look at the part number, but remember reading a while back about how "advanced" the stillen rotors were.

Is this product the product that is advertised as "brake pros" on stillens website?

Any rotor that's only $68 each isn't going to be 2 pc

Heres a good one....

http://www.dba.com.au/2006/namerica_usa.asp

DBA lists stillen as one of the places to buy their rotors.
