Brake fluid question....

so i am installing the JBT BBK tomorrow on my car....removied pads, calipers, rotors and lines and replacing everything...with that being said my brake system fluid should be flushed out....so is it worth it to go ahead and upgrade to dot 5 brake fluid?? or stay with stock?? correct me if im wrong but our cars take dot 4 brake fluid correct??

Valvoline synpower dot3/4 will be fine and found at all the local autoparts stores. Unless you are a hardcore track junky, you won't fade your brakes on the street anyways

whatever u do, DONT use Dot 5. it's silicone based and will not be good for yr system. correct me if i'm wrong here. i've been told to flush more often if u use rbf600 since it's more of a track fluid. i'm sure the brake experts will jump in if i'm not correct. i'm about to swap my lines out and bleed also...just lazy right now. did u get yrself a bleeder or will u use the old 2-man brake pedal pump method? good deal on the bbk btw!

yes, it will be fine, and it has the highest BP out of all the OTC brake fluids. Prestone DOT4 also has similar values, so if you find instead, go ahead and use it
