Brake fluid question....
Brake fluid question....
so i am installing the JBT BBK tomorrow on my car....removied pads, calipers, rotors and lines and replacing everything...with that being said my brake system fluid should be flushed out....so is it worth it to go ahead and upgrade to dot 5 brake fluid?? or stay with stock?? correct me if im wrong but our cars take dot 4 brake fluid correct??

yeah i will check..i am getting my BBK installed tomorrow night and dont think i can get that brake fluid to my house tomorrow.....im not sure of to many bike shops around me...are you meaning like a yamaha or something??

whatever u do, DONT use Dot 5. it's silicone based and will not be good for yr system. correct me if i'm wrong here. i've been told to flush more often if u use rbf600 since it's more of a track fluid. i'm sure the brake experts will jump in if i'm not correct. i'm about to swap my lines out and bleed also...just lazy right now. did u get yrself a bleeder or will u use the old 2-man brake pedal pump method? good deal on the bbk btw!
so what do you recommened i get?? my brakes are going onto tomorrow..i am needing to get some brake fluid....yes to your question above the 2 man method....but i am having German over at GS motorsports do them for me.
