can anyone expain this to me???

So i had my rear tires off the other day and the inside of the tread is almost bald.. the outside and middle aren't really showing many signs of wear but the inside is showing significant signs of wear. Does anyone know what would cause this. i posted some pics below but its kind of hard to see what Im talking about. In the pics they look fine but if you see them in person or feel them then they are pretty smooth.. The circled part is the part of the tread that is bald. I drive pretty "spirited" but i dont peel out or smoke my rear tires that often. Could it be an balance issue? Tires aren't that old, I've had them maybe 6 to 8 months with less than 8,000 miles on them..

The rear tires are different sizes than the front so I can't really rotate them. Am I gonna have to have the tire pulled off the rim and flipped to get full use out of these tires??

is your car lowered?.. if so do you have camber kits?.. maybe that's why it's wearing unevenly..

car might be sagging because of overuse over the last 5 years or what not, do you take corners really hard/let it swing out behind you? camber kit would solve your problems

Did you ever get an alignment done? I know on my stock suspension, everything was in spec except the drive rear which had -1.3 of camber. My car had 6K miles on it only too...

i've never had an alignment done.. the car is an '03 but only has 25000 miles on it. dont really fish tail it that much, but sometimes its kind of hard not to

it seems like infiniti built my G to fall apart after the damn warranty expired... Since the warranty expired i've had to replace numerous items...

tire pressure would not affect just the inside...if its underinflated it will go bald on the outsides overinflated will go bald in the middle

Simple get an alignment. You should have had one 18,000 miles ago.

Also when you run fat arsed tires, a camber / toe setting that was okay for a stock width tire might not be for a tire that's alot wider.

But you never mentioned if you are lowered or not. It doesn't look like you are that low.

As others have said, get the alignment checked and adjusted if necessary. Getting the toe right will greatly affect your tire wear and fortunatly, it's adjustable.
