Just put on 350Z h-techs/do they settle??

Just put on 350Z h-techs. I also put on 20X9F and 20X10R. Axis Pentas. Agressive offsets on Falken 452's. I'd have to say I like the front drop. But the rear doesn't really look like it dropped at all. I've read about the spring mount mod. but thats not for me. The question is will the springs settle a bit. I've had them on my car for 5 days. 3 of which I actually drove the car. I'm sure you need quite a bit of driving to settle them in. I took the advice hear of some members and they said for an aggressive look to go with the h-techs. Any h-tech owners know how long til these settle in?? thanks.

btw, who told you 350z h-techs was an aggressive drop? Its one of the milder conservative drops around here

maybe a quarter inch if anything. after 6 months my total rear drop was a little more than .5"

350z stechs would've been better for you.

depends how low do you want to go.. you can drop it a bit more because 20s raises the car up a little so 350z h-techs would look very agressive while the g35 h-techs will give you a mild look :quoted from klumyzee...but regardless i'd have to say...no rubbing, dont think i need an alignment and wont need a camber kit. plus about going with s techs. ive read around the forums they sag. i guess my next step up woould be coilovers.

^^^s techs sagging is not due to the springs but rather the oem shocks taking a beating.

i might as well stay with the h-techs cause i do have a data lip that is quite low already. i just wanted that in between drop. not too low ya know. h techs seem like a popular spring that a lot of the forum members use. so hopefully it will settle a half an inch eventually.

^^^there's nothing wrong with your choice on z htechs. as a matter of fact i had z htechs for almost a year...just recently switched to coilovers. with htechs you'll still be w/n oem specs in the rear and just a hair off on the fronts. plus the ride is pretty decent.

I hate to say, but your SOL.
The H-techs are stupidly high in the back. I have them on my 06 G35 adn the front is sweet, but the rear is about .5" to hihg in my opinion.

I called TEIN, and they said they compensated for the extra rear weight we would have if we had 2 people in the back. SUX..

Why would they do that if they are meant for 350z's?
