Sway bars vs GT spec braces

Do sway bars and the GT spec braces basically serve the same purpose or do they differ? I have 5AT sedan (daily driver) and I am wondering if they are worthing getting. Thanks

If the braces are what I think they are they are really not going to give you much performance feel. They just stiffen the chassis and unless your autocross racing I'm sure you wont need them. I have sways on my list as well!!!

GT Spec bars are actually more felt on the street-under "normal driving". They stiffen the chassis and car feels more "solid" and "composed". It takes care of some interior rattles and creaks too.
You will feel benefits of sway bar only if you push car in the corner. Benefits of stiffer chassis are felt even in straight line, unless you live in the area with glass-smooth pavement.
My suggestion-get both. It's only $150 for GT Spec bars...

Sway bars or stabilizer bars keep your suspension moving together vertically, and the other bars will keep the suspension moving together horizontally by stiffening the chassis.
In other words, sway bars reduce the sway and keeps traction more evenly distributed when you're turning, helping you turn better. Tie bars, strut bars, cross braces, etc... will give you better response.

Without touching on the sway bar side of things.

To be a devil's advocate. Bracing only delivers on its promise "IF" the bracing in of itself actually has forces delivered to it to resist upon. Or if it DOES get those forces, it can only deliver "IF" it doesn't bend them away with little to no resistance being offered.

I can't tell you how many time's just a upswing in ambient temps made my RT615's grip better, had I been testing something new, I might have mistaken the new part as the reason for the increased grip. Be very cautious about the design of things and how they get reviewed.
