Brake change & bleeding

I did my rears today unfortunately the rotors sent to me were incorrect (not naming names yet) so I managed to only change the pads not rotors. Speaking of rotors it is a pain in the ***. My brake pedal feels mushy so it must be air in the system.

Do you guys normally always bleed your system? My last two cars never had too.

Depends on when you last bled them. I like to flush/change out brake fluid at least every 2 years. DOT3 also absorbs water over time, making the pedal mushier and reducing the boiling point of the fluid. You want a brake performance upgrade; this is one of the simplest ones you can do.
