On my G35, I noticed after the addition of the sway bars on certain bumps that I drive over everyday in my commute seemed to be less dramatic at speed because both sides seemed to be loaded down instead of just one side of my car's suspension.
And to answer your question, I did have the sways installed first, but it was just because the order of the parts as they came in.
If you're going to get springs and DSP-7s then its a no brainer that you really should buy the Sways to "put the whole suspension together".
On another note: I used to have a 300zxtt that I used for daily driving and didn't want the ride quality to be too much for the streets that I left all the suspension stock but adjustable sway bars and upgraded rim/tire package. This setup was more than adequate for some track duties and fun in the mountains against more heavily modified suspension cars. The sway bars alone on this car was a HUGE addition with all other parts being stock.
Hope that helps!

If you're interested in better handling you'll really want to consider adjustable sway bars. I have Stillens set at med/med and am very happy with them. You will however notice a significantly stiffer ride which is the opposite of your "plush ride" goal.
i wonder if my dampers are starting to loose the umph! cause my
ride is not harsh at all even at my current settings. it's stiff and tight,
but not harsh.
i put about 15K miles on them...
i run 245/35/19 275/35/19's.

I got 350z s.techs & 350z d-specs... What setting would everyone recommend on the shocks..? My G is used as a daily driver, but I want to be slightly stiffer than it is now (with my stillen sways at stiff/stiff) but still comfortable to drive everyday...

G35 Coupe "Sport Package"
Hotchkis sways - mid settings front and rear
RS*R 350Z Ti2000 springs
Tokico DSP9 - 3.5 Front and 3 rear...for now.
SPC front and rear camber kits
my idea is trying to match the stiffness of the dampers with the spring rates, hence the reason the rear are set firmer to match up with the higher spring rates of the rear springs. so far, so good and it seems to make sense to a laymen like myself. isn't that what they do with coilovers?
when I use to run 350Z H-Techs, I had the DSpecs set to same number of turns front and rear because the spring rates of the H-Techs were very close front and rear. usually had them set to 4 from full stiff with these springs.
I have gone as high as 2 front and 1.5 rear, but the roads here in MD can be very unkind.
with taxes so high here you would think our infrastructure could get paved a little better.
