HKS Hipermax RS Coilovers & Richie STB

Anyone running this combo? The driver's side bracket for the STB won't clear the top of the HKS Hipermax RS coilovers. I was planning to have the mounting brackets modified to provide clearance. Wanted to see if anyone thought more out of the box before I do.

I had Randy's bracket modified. Not sure if he has any pictures posted, the version 2 bars incorporated the bracket mods we did.

Does that mean I just need to get a set of the v.2 brackets? Will they fit my v.1 STB?

I believe the bars are the same minus the finish differences, the brackets are one of the things they adjusted in version 2.

yes, you can just swap the mounts. but i don't know where you'll find the mounts alone.

That shouldn't be a measure of how good/bad coilovers are.

I'm running the exact combo and Randy modified my bracket a lil when he installed it.
