Can you guys shed some lights on what model hawks brake pads are best for my 03 G35 sedan, i been having issues with my brake pads squeaking. Can you guys provide the part# as well so i will know what to get, and i will take suggestion for other brands of products as well.

Someone may have to verify this for me as it's been a while since I got them.

But these completely eliminated any squealing I had from brakes.

^ +1. The P/N's are right. I'm currently running the Hawk pads on the front, and I can vouch that these pads are the best aftermarket replacements for the OEMs. Equal or better braking performance, and little to no brake dust.

Do some searching around this forum - this has been discussed ad nauseum. There's no way the Hawks could equal or exceed OEM braking performance, except in the categories of dust and fade resistance. You won't beat the OEM pads for cold, initial bite. That's the design Nissan chose for this car.

what about squeals?

Thanks guys, the reason i am asking about Hawks brand is because my OEM brake pads, makes lots of dust and squeals very loud, i had about just enough of it so i am planning to switch them out to hawks cause my friend's RSX stop the squeal after the Hawks brake pads are installed... Anybody know any sites that sells them for cheap? Thanks.....

I got my Hawk fronts for less than $70 from autoanything.com. Most other vendor sites sell them at around that price. Try looking into the Marketplace forum as there's a good chance someone is selling Hawk pads for cheap.

Agreed, you can't have the best of all worlds, you either sacrifice performance for noise/dusting, or you sacrifice dusting/noise for better performance. Only way to get both is going to larger rotors and calipers correctly sized for the application. IE 06+ brakes or Brembos/BBK.

Hawk HPS or Ceramic better for low noise or no squealing?

Ceramics, by their nature, are lower dust and lower noise. My experience with HPS AND Hawk performance ceramics confirms it. Don't expect tremendous cold bite and fade resistance from the ceramics though.

How does a larger rotor/caliper that is correctly sized get you both? If it's correctly sized, you won't notice any change in brake torque, and therefore shouldn't see any change in pad bite. Am I missing something?

Look at the 06+dual piston OEM setup as an example. Larger rotors and calipers front and rear with pads that dust significantly less than the older single piston calipers and have similar or better braking performance than the older smaller brake setup.
