$400 Spring Installation?

By the time you get the nut backed off the stem, there's very little tension left.

If your coilover comes fully assembled w/ its own top hats, etc., then coilovers are much easier to install than springs because you don't have to disassemble the front strut/spring assembly. You just remove the complete stock strut/spring assembly as one unit and install the coilover assembly.

OTOH, if your coilover uses parts of the stock suspension components like the top hats, rubber isolators, etc., then it's exactly the same labor as installing springs.

ohh ok i didnt know that..good info

just say its tien basic coilover

but since I know the guy and the shop the springs would be same too..around $200
