Dual Valve Stems???

Dual Valve Stems???

The other day I was at the dealer and test drove and checked out the G37's.. The G37 that I drove had 19" Enkei I believe.. The crazy thing was that it had 2 valve stems on all four rims?? The dealer could not explain that? anyone know what's up?

Nitrogen. One is used to fill nitrogen, the other to extract air.

Really?? Why would you need a different valve for nitrogen?? I heard of people filling up their oems with it without the use of a seperate stem...

With only 1 valve, there is no way to displace the air already in the tire when its not inflated but on the rim. To fill the tire completely with nitrogen, one valve adds nitrogren while the other is bled off of the air within the tire

^Yeah, what he said. I can't see how it's possible to completely fill a tire with nitrogen with only one valve stem.

You can also use it to read the air pressure on one stem while inflating on the other. The Enkei NT03+M's have the dual stems primarily for that reason.

Uhm, two valve stems...checking pressure while inflating/deflating.
