Need Assistance Diagnosing a Few Noises..

Over the last few months I've noticed my car has started to make two noises that are actually quite annoying...

The first is a squeaking noise that happens when I first get into the car, and then it will just continue to squeak randomly when I'm driving, but it does it all the time. When I go over any sized bump the car will squeak. What could this be? I think it could be something with my Stillen Sways, as I've heard that when your endlinks go bad they start to squeak. If this is the case, how do I fix this?

Second, one day I was parking the car and I had it in reverse. I noticed that I could hear a very fast rattling sound, almost sounded like a grinding noise, but it was more of a rattle. Ever since then I've noticed a big loud rattling sound coming somewhere from between the passenger seat and the shifter. I've got under the car a few times and had my friend look at it, and we can't figure out what the rattle is. I hope its not my tranny..but I have no idea how to figure out if it is.

Now, I need someone to tell me what these are and how to fix them, lol. Thanks for any help!

1) My guess: the noise is coming from your sway bars, as you suggested, or even more likely the compression bars

Not sure about the second issue, could be a boat load of things.

Is the squeaking sound similar to the squeaking of an old spring mattress? My car does it and it comes from the driver's rear wheel well area. Hell, a few weeks ago it began doing it CONSTANTLY when I was driving. It was so bad it sounded like an old 1970's Chevy Pick up. Then, all of a sudden, it stopped squeaking constantly and now does it only occassionally when I get in or out of the car. I still gotta take it for a check, but I am guessing it can be a bad bushing somewhere back there...

Where is the squeaking coming from? Inside might be the seat rails/seat.

Under the car might be exhaust hangers.

2nd issue, possible the rear axle issue? Didn't think that applied to your car though.

try not driving the car on the third wednesday of every other month. I bet it will disappear if you do that.

I had the same squeky/crunching noise coming from the front suspension as well. Took it to the dealer the first time and they replaced some stabilizer bars in the front. It came back in 2 months and the second time I took it in they said the suspension components needed to be lubed which they did for free since I told them it was recently replaced like 2 months ago.

Would be nice to have a DIY that shows how to lube the suspension so I don't have to take the car in to the dealer every 2 months. The noise is gone and usually happened after going over bumps.
