DIY for SPC rear camber kit?
DIY for SPC rear camber kit?
I am getting springs installed this week, and I'm debating if I should get the SPC rear camber kit installed along with it..
If theres a DIY I'd like to see if its something I can do myself (couldnt find any)..I did see the instructions on the SPC site but no pics
btw the only knowledge I have of suspension is just reading through this forum.
THanks

If you're already paying for the springs to be installed then I would just have them do it. They shouldn't charge you too much more for camber rods in the back.Make sure to get a professional 4 wheel alignment afterwards.
If you do want to take it on yourself it's easiest if you have an impact gun to take off the blots. I installed mine in 60 min both sides. The only thing I remember being a pain was I had to drop the swaybar a little in the inner mount to get the inside of the camber rod to drop down.
I swear there is a DIY with pix somewhere. Keep lookin

The camber arms are pretty simple, here is Stillen's install instructions, but they apply to the spc camber arms as well

Just get the springs installed, then wait 2 weeks and get an alignment. Depending on how low you go you may not really need a rear kit. You will def need a front kit if going lower than 1".
I got a 1.1" drop and rears are within OEM spec, fronts are out of spec. Planning on gettins some SPL front A-arms soon.
