My G35 does it slightly on the unrevised Z springs in the front and coupe springs in the rear, but the pogoing is only really felt on rutted surfaces at speeds below 35mph. At all other speeds, the car is well dampened especially on the highway. When I had my Z springs on the back for 2 weeks, the pogoing effect was more pronounced.

If you want to fix the problem, you need the revised Z springs in the front and coupe springs out back. The shocks are completely fine and up to the task. I'm telling you, coupe springs out back. The .5" higher ride height out back makes all the difference.

My G has the sport package therefore I didn't have to swap shocks. The firmness of my G didn't increase on bit when I added the Z/coupe springs. The only thing different is slightly better handling, a more stable highway ride, and the pogoing effect.

I've had non-sport loaners and damn those things are softly sprung. They don't handle badly, but they don't handle like the Sport-equipped nor ride as harshly.
Dammit!

Bascially I bought 2 sets 1 unrevised set that was assembled shocks/springs and A set of Revised springs only. I installed the unrevised set so I could avoid having to re-assemble the struts.

And to add insult to injury, i sold the revised springs yesterday. I guess I can live with it, but I've ordered the shocks and maybe it will help a bit.

Thanks for all the help guys.

My G sits the same way. In fact before I have Coupe springs in the rear to have the rear higher and the front "looks to be" higher.

Coil-overs ftw. Spend 600-700$ on some Tein Basics.. You can Adjust ride hight and the ride quality isn't bad at all. Ive actually been complimented on the ride quality.

Ive got some unrevised 350z springs that have been laying around my garage for a year if anyone is interested lmk.

What is the performance like. My interest is not "ride quality" but, did it improve handling? Do you have the same amount of travel? I notice the springs on C/O type are a lot smaller, are the spring rates relatively the same?

sorry about the 20 questions....

Well i can't inform you about the spring rates, but the Yawn when braking and accelerating is reduced and body roll is greatly reduced.. I could imagine handling being close to that of a 350z with some aftermarket sways. But the big plus is definitely being able to adjust ride hight.

I have a set of revised springs I haven't put on yet. I'd let them go for $100

I think like someone else said here, this subject is soooo subjective. I thought it was just a little bumpy. Maybe I'll have to ride with you to lunch one day...

Haha yeah... After riding in your car i've bumped up the ztube, spacer and exhaust on my list of mods to do.

350z setup w/kyb shocks

Have you installed the kyb setup yet? If so how is the ride? I am wanting to do this same setup on my 04 sedan with sport sus, Z revised springs and kyb shocks/struts. Where did you order your kyb from and how much did they cost?
Thanks

From what I understand, the KYB shocks are an OEM replacement. The revised Z springs will be too stiff for the KYB's to handle.
