RacingBrake 13" BBK Front and Rear
So as many of you have probably found out from the stealerships on replacement cost for rotors and pads I figure I might as well spend a little more and get a decent full brake system. I got quoted $1900 for all 4 corners for replacements from Infiniti.
These BBK's are some of the sweetest ones I found and with the price, you can't go wrong.
4 Piston Fronts and Big brake brackets for the rear using OE calipers. 13" rotors all around including autocross pads and 4 stainless steel brake lines. Total cost shipped to the door and installed $2500 Canadian (This was when the Canadian Dollar was 1:1 with the US) ($2000 for the parts, $200 for duty and $300 to install)
Best part, later on if I want to upgrade the rear to 4 Piston calipers, they give you discounted upgrade cost for the calipers at $400 with the pads included. Also as you can see, these babies fit inside the stock 17" wheels. Great because I have my winters on the stock 17"s and 20" for summers. It fills up the wheel gap nicely on the 20's.
Check them out www.racingbrake.com. They even have 2-piece rotors for these BBKs.

Rears:

I lost about 32 to 35lbs with these brakes basically makes up for the increase in weight with the 20's and then some. Moving the boxes when they arrived were a breeze, picking up the boxes with the stock parts afterwards nearly broke my back!
So far the only complaint is that it takes awhile for them to brake in. But smoothest braking I've experienced in a long time once they are broken in.
They also come in red but I prefer the inconspicuous look...keeps the boys in blue away.
Cheers all and keep up the awesome forum! I'm learned soooo much from you fine G35 owners.

I replaced all my rotors and pads for $450.
A local shop charged me $85 per rotor and the pads were $110
$1900 from the dealership? Man those guys have NO shame.
on the up and up, your brakes looks hawt as hell, and probably perform better than Ron Jeremy on Viagra.

1900 for factory brakes is insane I got set of R1Concepts for under $500 including the calipers, pads and stainless steel lines they are lighter than stock but not by much.

I've seen worse. A friend of mine has the 350z that's got the brembo's and to replace all the rotors and pads (NOT CALIPERS) including labor was going to be $3400 from the dealership. They said something about 700 per rotor. It was nuts! Needless to say, he went on the good ol' net to get a better deal.
I know I could have gone and gotten aftermarket replacement rotors and pads for about $600 but I also hated the way the stock brakes looked so small in the 20's. I was already prepared for the "Cost of Ownership" of these sedans and thought I'd kill two birds with one stone. Maybe a third if these things last longer than the 20,000km that my stock ones took to warp.

that's a fantastic deal.
$2500 canadian... that's what, $350 in u.s. dollars?
i've been considering bbk's for a while now, and don't want to cough up 4400 for stoptechs, or 3000 for wilwoods, but 2500 (u.s.) for possible both front and rear does sound pretty attractive.

It'd be cheaper for you because you don't have to pay the stupid Government Rape Tax (aka duties) and I'm pretty sure shipping within the states is a lot cheaper than to Canada. It was shipped from PARSIPPANY, NJ.
I had the RB 13" 2-pc 4-pot fronts and oem caliper 13" rears on my car for the last ~2 years. Since many of the guys here have seen my constant posts they have seen this kit before.
I just took them off and sold them for a Rotora 15" 12-pot front and 14" 4-pot rear.

They fill up 20's much better!

Hahaha, yea I've seen your brake thread. Those are MASSIVE! I was originally going to go with the 14" 6-piston ones but unfortunately, I needed ones that I can fit my stockers on for the winter seasons here in Alberta, Canada and I really didn't feel like buying 2 sets of 20's. Don't quite have a money tree in the back yard (winter's too cold for it ;-D)
I was very happy with my RB kit. I drove the car very hard on a few mountain runs and never had any fade issues. For the money it is one of the best kits out there IMO. You made a great choice.

Random little note. Just found out a Vortech Supercharger installed for my car will cost $7500 including dyno tuning. The greddy twin turbo installed will cost about $11000 including dyno tuning. Never realized how much extra it cost to install a turbo vs. a supercharger...nuts!
