Front rotor life span

Front rotor life span
I tried searching nothing came up.
What kind of life do you guys get out of your front rotors? Do you replace the rotor everytime you do your brakes or do you get them cut?
I did my rears already and I replaced the rotor. I used a caliper to measure the thickness and I was at roughly 28 mm. I know the limit is 27 mm. Wondering if I can even cut it at this stage.

most places will not resurface your rotor if it will be below minimum range because its dangerous. However, now that you know you dont have brembos you saved a ton of $$$$ because stock replacemtn rotors are cheap. Check stoptech if you want decent replacements at a better price than the dealership

I wouldn't recommend R1...from personal experience and other people's experience with them:

To keep the exposed metal that does not contact the pad from rusting, just apply a light coat of the 1200 degree paint from the auto parts store on them. The pads instantly wear away the paint that they come into contact with.

I remember buying a set of authentic Brembo replacement rotors for my 99 Eclipse, and they rusted too. I had them on for less than 500 miles and one day after a rain storm the rotos ( all 4 ) had dripping stains of rust. They looked like you threw water mixed in with rust on them. Moral of the story, even Zinc plated rotors will rust, i mean they are just PLATED. Let me go buy gold plated jewelry and jump in the pool! Its wayyyyy too expensive to get 100% non rust rotors.
