Tein Basics and SPC Camber Arms Installed

I spent some time on the car over the weekend and finished this morning with Tein and SPC install. A quick recap of the last couple of days.

Changed the spark plugs
Installed the Richie V2 bar
Installed the Sport Pedals
New revised compression rods
changed out front and rear end links to the OEM revised links
Tein Basics
SPC front and rear camber arms

I haven't been happier with the car since it was new. The Tein's gave me the perfect drop I was looking for and the SPC kit dialed everything back to spec. I had a local shop install the compression rods, coilovers and SPC arms. Total shop time was just about 3 hours. It would have been quicker if I had ordered the ball joint seats which I highly recommend for those purchasing the SPC front kit. We ended up pulling the old seats off and it's a PIA. Took it directly to the alignment rack and got it dialed in. Good as new!

Here are some pics after the install.

Thanks much. Decided to keep it for a while since it's been paid off. Hopefully it runs until I can afford a GTR!

Just so you know, after the SPC fronts were installed, I got the ABS, SLIP and VDC light. I was concerned at first but the lights all went out on their own after I turned the car off. I had read a couple of threads where other drivers didn't use the spacers but I did on my install. Fit was perfect.

Thanks for the info.

I plan on leaving a decent amount of negative camber in there so I don't expect to need the spacers. I just want to have the same amount of camber on both sides. For some reason one side is off by ~.3 degrees right now and it causes a pull to the right.

Thanks, I wished I had done the Tein Basics sooner. JCS did a great deal on the struts. I was never happy with the 350Z springs but the Tokico D-Spec might work well with another spring. The front was perfect with the Z springs but the back sucked. I'm giving the D-Specs and springs away for a local pick up on another thread. Tis the season!

Thanks Hexxum. Not sure you're missing much after looking at your newest G. Red is nice though.

TTrank, the lower ball joint seats are very cheap and needed for the SPC front install. They can be removed from your OEM control arms but it's a PIA. Your mechanic will like you more if you pick up some new ones. The list price is $9.23 per seat. The part number is 40173-33P00 (Lower Ball Joint Seat). It took 20 minutes to get the old ones off. Just a suggestion.
