VDC comes on after fat doughnut?

I turned of my VDC then pull a first to seconds gear doughnut, it whipped so tight that it whipped the front end around too then sat in one place on the rev-limit boiling the tires in seconds then I started rolling out of it packin it sidewayz again and then it stopped spinning and the slip light was constantly on till I turned the car off. What gives are they all like this?

ya same thing happens sometime when you get an alignment. turning the car off usually resets it.

if i remember reading right when you have VDC off its not 100% off but if you are spinning your tires enough the slip light stays on basically indicating that it gives up trying to keep you from spinning your tires... correct me if im wrong but i think thats what i remember reading somewhere

The g35 is not a 240sx so don't treat it like one.

How hard do you have to drive it. Ive had my G sliding completely sideways for a good 15-20 foot b4, Suprised my driver side sideskirt was not digging into the pavement..

You dont have to really drive it that hard but lose total control like 360 spins. The only way i got myn to come on and stay on was when it was raining and i tried a donut in a parking lot and the car wouldnt stop spinning for like 2 spins. Las Vegas oily Roads + Rain = Slip everywhere even making a turn at 15mph you will skid out

I know what you mean, Im a expert at driving on bald tires in the rain. Its some what of a art when no matter what you do the back end is swaying around like driving on ice with plastic tires.

The system thinks there is an issue and turns off the VDC until the next power cycle. You are fine, it has done that to me a number of times.
