Wheel bearing & hub - time to install these puppies

I had a axle nut spin loose in the rear, had all the symptoms of a failed bearing. I did trace the problem and tighten the nut. But before I did that I looked in the FSM to find out what is involved to replace the bearings, I will look foreward to your post on the install. I bought a used rear bearing/hub assembly of ebay for $40 just in case I need one down the road.

I had excessive vibration when i broke all the time. It got even worse once the brakes got heated. It was just embarrasing how bad this car would shake. The rear left brake was always squeaking and felt like it was scratchhing the rotor. When i was inspecting it i noticed that the bolt for the axle was loose! I tightened the bolt to 190 ft lbs and now its not loose anymore. The problem still remains though, i still get heavy vibration from the back, and the rear brake is making all kinds of noises. The vibration is not as bad as before, but this car doesnt need to be vibrating while i brake on the highway. I decided for new rotors? Could it be the bearing? Is it hard to change out the axle shaft itself?

Oh man, this brings back some bad memories of my Wilwood front BBK install.
In order to remove the dust shields, I had to remove the hubs. What a difficult task that was! I am assuming you have done this before on your G?
Mine were corroded solid to the spindle. Good luck. I have pics posted in my sticky thread above.
