dropped springs back to stock springs

so i changed my springs last week but feel that it is way to low to ride like that in nyc.. i know the stock shocks im on right now cannot handle the lowered springs at all bc the ride is very bouncy and im bottoming out when im going fast. im definately switching back to the stock springs this weekend but are my shocks blown by now or will they still holdup? ive been riding with the lowered springs for just a week now.
