Exclamation Rust On My Rotors !!!

I have rust on my rotors , towards the middle/center, i need ideas and help on how to remove it , my freinds say just scrub it with steel wool, is there any other ideas ?

ya mine get surface rust everytime it rains then you stop and it comes off

Drive to 35mph and come to a nice stop. See if there is still rust on them. if there is a line of rust or a specific spot left, you have warped rotors or pads that are not making full contact. replace appropriate parts, or may even need to top off brake fluid or bleed.

time to upgrade to a 6pot BBK.

if it's time to change out your air filter, might as well go twin turbo

but the rust on the rotors is normal, but I use excuses like those to justify my modding habits

Iron + weather = rust -> chemistry

rotor + cleaning + high temp paint = delaying eventual chemistry.
