Alignment & camber adj kit
Alignment & camber adj kit :
Hey Guys,
I just recently put on my new wheels & tires on my 05 coupe. I brought it over to infiniti to get my alignment done, but only could get partial done because the new 20 inch rims they said wont work with fact. nissan parts for alignment and camber.
for 20x8.5 to 20x10 inch rims is their a certain particular alignment and camber kit I need to find for the car to get it set right?
Brand new tires so I seriously would like to prevent premature wear now while they still got them nipples!
Thank Guys!
Joey

Nope I haven't lowered it. The only thing in that realm was I put on the 20's instead of the fact 19's. But when I was at infiniti they could re-align my camber they said because of that. I don't know much in that ball park so I just took their word for it. I have the front and rear alignment done through them but now I need to get the Camber adj kit, but I have no idea to what I should be looking for when I search for it.
don't go to the dealer!!!!

Find a good local alignment shop or find a chain store such as les schawb or firestone. Get an alignment done thru them.
Camber adjustment is a part of four wheel alignment. Our cars does not come with camber adjustment in the front and rears come with negative camber from the factory. Negative camber gives you more tracktion during cornering. If you have not gotten the vehicle lowered, they should be able to get you right in to specs.....
And far as I know you don't need to get an alingment with wheel change unless you are way out of specs and got the wrong size tires...

Thanks that helps out alot. I didnt have a clue when it came down to this business. I did need the alignment though, been awhile since the last and figured after the wheel and tire change it might as well get done. I'll have to look into firestone here locally and see what they got to say, hopefully they can get the rear camber back into specs.
Appreciate It...
