are weak endlinks the source of the 'clunking' you can get with sway bars, or is it under-lubed bushings?

They may be a combination of weak, worn or mis-adjusted End Links...

I have an '05 which was supposed to come with the beefier endlinks so I thought I was ok. A week after putting the bars on I started to notice clunking at slow speeds over bumps though. If a relube doesn't work I'll replace the end links.

after installation, you should verify the correct alignment of the endlink, meaning that it must be parallel to what it is attached to (ie - sway bar or arm). if not, they may not be able to fully attenuate as designed thereby causing some sort of "noise."

+1...it's worth a try. You'll probably be better off going to "beefier" End Links.

it may be hard to visualize...but take a look at the pictures i posted up. when you look at the link itself relative to the sway bar, yes, that would be perpendicular. but when you look at the face of the actual joint relative to the sway bar or the opposite attachment point, it must be parallel.

from what i understand, the spherical bearings wear out over time, especially if you track the car. this is a major cause of the binding issues some people had.

Hopefully, for a "mostly" Street Car, this won't be a problem!
I will "post" if and when I do...

Stillen Sways with adjustable end links.......?

Chris from what I've read we won't realize how well aftermarket sways work
until we find adjustable end links. A few members have had them for sale but
only one set which won't get the job done, I need both front and back with
the same links. I'll keep emailing different companys until I find what will work
for our cars.

+1...SPL and PowerGrid come to mind.
You can contact Kuah (at SPL Parts) and Adam (at Z1 Performance).
Both are very knowledgeable and are very helpful too!
