I've omitted because my choices are limited to Rotora and AP Racing...
I want to get the best deal possible with the idea of not having to worry in the future about braking safety.

naw, daily, they're perfect. It's just that if you don't plan to track your car, and have to get these brakes NEW, Rotora would be the way to go since they're significantly cheaper.

well, it depends on what you are looking for OP. will you ever track the car? will it be street driven? do you care about pad choices? are you comfortable with rotora as a company and being around for a long time?
what the people of this thread have been posting about AP is true...they have been around for a long time and aren't going anywhere anytime soon. how do i know this you ask? they have very (VERY) close ties to brembo. yes, they are in competition, but if you look around, there isn't a brake company around that supplies more brakes than those two. for those who think the JGTC use nothing but "JDM" BBK's exclusively, think again. if you don't believe me, just google pics of the JGTC 350Z (yeah, those are AP's).
i know that AP brakes (like stoptech's) comply with the FMSI numbers. rotora and megan do not, meaning you are stuck with their pad forever. no pad choices, nothing. there may be a FEW companies out there who can custom make some for you (carbotech), but you will pay.
as far as pistons, i would go as far as to say that anything above 6 pistons are useless and really do nothing for pedal feel. i don't want to turn this into an internet argument about "well, more pistons equals more clamping power" blah blah blah. i will just say....search. some hard core guys say nothing over 4 does anything anymore. anything above 6 IMHO is just marketing.
now, as for price, sure rotora's and megan's are going to be cheaper, but how much cheaper? from what i've seen, not by that much. if you are going to pay $2-$3k for a full BBK kit, why not spend the few extra hundred (not thousands) to get one that is not only proven on the track, but proven as a company as well.
and not putting taiwan down or anything, but yes, rotoras and megans are made in taiwan. stoptech is made here in the US and AP in the UK. hope this helps in your endeavor.

Finally a post worth reading....
Thank you for the information, Yet I've come to my conclusion as the Rotora's i will be getting are a slamming deal. They may not be track proven but all in all they are better than stock 03 G35 sedans bring. I will not be tracking any time soon, yet having these brakes give me the benefit of having more room for f/i in the future and not have to worry about safety then...
But thanks for your post its truely appreciated.
