Help!! SPC Toe Bolt to Short

Just put on my rear SPC camber arms and toe bolts and the toe bolts are to short. I think the reason is my car has Rear Active Steer and the mounting point for the rear midlink is different than a car without it. I think the mounting point is slightly wider. I had to leave off one of the cam washers in order to get it on. That will work for now but I need a longer bolt. I plan on calling SPC on monday.

Has anyone else had this issue and what did you do for a fix.

quite a while ago i installed the GTspec rear brace. Later on i got the spc bolt and it was too short. i had to take off the GTspec bar so it would fit. not sure if SPC made a longer bolt. All i needed was about a half inch longer and it would have ben fine.

thought you had to drill out the hole a bit to get the toe bolt to fit

You have to dill out the hole so you can get more adjustment, has nothing to do with the bolt length

I called SPC today and they are sending a bolt that is 10mm longer, cars with RAS do require a longer bolt. You could also use that bolt the solve your issue with the GT Spec bar

yeah that is good to know. wonder if they would do an exchange program....... not!!!!. it would be nice though to just send in the short ones and get the longer ones. 10mm should just cover the length i need.

Got mine today. $6 a bolt and $8 to ship. $20 for 2 bolts Jeez.

I did notice they are higher grade than the shorter ones. Those were 8.8. The longer ones are 10.9
