Lowering Advice

I have an 04 sedan (not an X) and am curious about lowering. It is a daily driver with 2 car seats in the back. I don't want to go too low - just enough to look better and fill in the wheel gap. Is there a kit out there that will do the job? I am running 18's with 225/45/18 +45mm Offset.

tein s-techs. 2 in the front 1.5 in the back. imo they give the sedans the best stance.

350Z Springs

I think these are the cheapest route. I love the way it looks on mine...
I picked up a set of unrevised for 75...but ive seen them for a LOT cheaper.

If you have the sport suspension, you can just swap the springs with a G coupe for 1/2" or a 350Z for 1" drop all around. With those tires, you shouldn't be too low. If really worried about it, do coupe springs on rear and 350Z on front. The G's rear fenders are cut lower than the fronts so it looks uneven but isn't.

^ +1 but I think the 350z/g35 coupe springs are going to be to low in the rear for what he's asking I say go with the H&R

The S-techs mentioned above are clearly not what you're looking for. A 2" drop up front is pretty low (you may already know that). I have the z/coupe spring combo mentioned by darnelled above and I'm very happy with it (and I too have 2 car seats in my car).

Congratulations, you have just opened the can of worms for the 10,000,000 time.
Just look here and decide for yourself.

Look her for pics of the drops on various rims.

Just get some coilovers... I had my car lowered 3"F/2.5"R for a few months and it was scraping the exhaust on speed bumps.

I'm liking this unrevised z spring front/coupe spring rear combo more and more...looks even. Spring rate matches the stock springs and is better for the sport shocks?

Never ever cut your springs. Buy new ones or go with coilovers. You can get coil overs for under $800.

patman32, with 2 car seats in the back, I would probably hold off on any type suspension mods. Without the cars seats, I would opt for the Tein 350Z H-Tech/Tokico D-spec9 set-up. This is the very same set-up, which we installed on my brother's '04 6MT Sedan.
