I've started looking into this recently and there appears to be quite a few strut braces available. Front upper and lower, as well as rear. It seems like the rear is least susceptible to twisting force so the Stillen rear strut brace would provide plenty of support. I'm kind of undecided on the front braces. What do you guys like best?
the richie strut bar is the most popular because it was the first with an appealing price. it's received a lot of good reviews; however, many people still aren't totally convinced that it works after having tested it out.
the arc bar is of the same design (richie's bar is an arc replica). it's made of a titanium alloy.
and now stillen offers a strut bar. like richie's, it's aluminum. it does not look to perform any better or worse than richie's. however, it does not have as much room for plenum mods as richie's. richie's bar will fit most intakes and pretty much all plenum mods that i can think of.
the vrt/relentless autosports brace has gotten all positive reviews. i have never heard a negative review about this brace. it's not your traditional strut tower bar, but it seems to work. however, you do pay the price for performance. it's $500 the last time i checked.
for more info on how to get the relentless autosports strut brace, send me a PM.

I'd probably go with the richie bar because of the price and clearance. I have a stillen, and it works great but I wish it had more clearance.

ORLY summed it up pretty well there. Gonna link to your post whenever ppls ask "which strut bar to buy".... lol
shdowflare, ORLY broke it down...so just depends what you're looking for in terms of performance and price.

Don't forget the new Kinetix one.
Circuit Sport also has one which I tend to like a little better
cause of its solid design to bad it wont clear my dampening adjustment *****.

I'd take anything that mounts to the chassis over any standard strut bar. Otherwise, imo, you're buying something mainly for looks.

Even the pricy VRT Relentless bar? I definitely like the look of the strut brace but I'm willing to pay extra if it functions well.Originally Posted by dofu

For one, it's not VRT anymore... it's being manufactured by GT Spec now. And like O Rly stated, there has not been any unhappy customers so far. As expensive as it is, I felt like I got my money's worth. I know I would never be this happy with the purchase with any other standard strut bar, even if it was much cheaper.
You guys have sold me. Guess I'll get the entire GT-Spec set now.

GT-Spec is not producing this brace, contrary to what has been posted and listed on some vendor sites.Originally Posted by shdowflare

I don't get it I have a Richie strut bar, it fits my 1/2" spacer and works great
why would I pay triple the cost for a bar with someones label/name on it?
