Need Help!!!! Oil Leak Problem!!!

So i have this problem. I THOUGH my coilovers were bad when i notice a small oil leak from the rear, so i took my car to the dealership and have them check it out. They say the leak is comming from the CROSS MEMBER in the rear suspension and that i need to get it replacd. $1800!!! I tell this to other people and say it cant possibly be the crossmember and throw out other ideas. Anyone know of a place i can get my car checked to see what the problem can be??? And if it IS the cross member, im sure they wont charge me as much as the Stealership cause the part cost no more than $400. Any help greatly appreciated!!!

Rear silicone filled bushing subframes take an expert [plus a helper] 8 hours minimum.

Heavy wheels tend to transfer stress along with suspension mods, normally Infiniti rear subframes last at least 150k [with stock wheels and no accidents].

We've seen this for years on older Q where big wheels were added by new owner after warranty and whamo a leaking subframe bushing..........not saying proof but it happens alot.

Mine lasted 220,000 miles with stock wheels
