Which pads?
Hey, I'm looking to get some new Brake Pads for when I get my wheels, because the OEM ones are reallly dusty as you all know...
What would be my best bet? I'm looking for something that isn't horridly expensive, but is low on dust. Performance improvements would be great too, and I'm not sure if it will take care of the slight squeal, but if so, that would be great

Ok now to add on to this thread. I am assuming then Hawk HP pads last longer and less break dust than the stock pads correct?
Another quick question, I was at the dealer the other day and they noticed all 4 of my break pads were very low and wanted 250$ to change just the front break pads and resurface rotors. I said well i can get all 4 pads for that price and change them out myself but according to him he said rotors are required to be resurfaced every time you change out your pads? So my question is. Should I order hawk hp pads and just have pepboys install and resurface rotors and will it be cheaper than dealers 250 for just fronts or might as well let the dealer do it?
Edit: Now that I read more about the Hawk HP pads on this site there seems to be mixed reviews. Mostly saying they are really quiet and minimal to no break dust but stopping wise arent the best?

Just switched out to Hawk HPS pads in front about 250 miles (4 days) ago. $65.92 online from topbrakes.com, free shipping.
FOLLOW THE HAWK BREAK-IN PROCEDURES (printed on the box), and they bite almost as hard initially as the stockers, are easy to modulate thereafter, and otherwise seem to have the same stopping power as stock, which is to say, excellent.
Had the stock pads replaced (and front rotors, turned the rears) under warranty at about 28,000 miles, then replaced the fronts with the Hawks at 59,000 miles (had about 1/8"" minimum left on the front pads).
Stock front rotors were worn pretty well this time too, and will be replaced soon, but they weren't warped so I didn't turn them - just scuffed them well with fine steel wool and put on the pads! Again, everything on their website www.hawkperformance.com stresses proper break-in or "bedding" in order to get the full performance from the pads, so be sure to follow that procedure. This is true of any new brake pad, by the way.
Don't know about the dust issue yet, or the wear on the rotors - I'll report after 5,000 - 10,000 miles.
