Okay, my brakes just started to make a strange sound, they usually make a squeek when I go in reverse, but no other time.

I'm getting a squeel noise from my drivers side rotor when I hit the brakes, and then after I let go they continue to squeek for a few seconds more.

I'm not sure if its my pads that are dead, and the metal plate is hitting the rotor, or if the caliper is just not letting go and staying clamped too long.

I plan to replace the pads, rotors and lines soon, but I would just like to know what this noise is
