tein monoflex too stiff!!! help!
hi, i have the monoflex made for the nissan 350z installed on my 2004 infiniti g35.
i find that the springs are too hard for daily driving.
do you have another spring that will fit on my shocks that are softer?
can i just buy lowering springs made for the g35 and install them on the monoflex shocks?
i know the rears i can just get any spring and install them since the shock and springs are separate.
but the fronts are a shock / spring unit. so just wondering if a spring like the skunk2 will fit?

you can also source different rate springs from Swift...only problem is it sounds like you bought the wrong set of c/o's for your car and should have gone with the comfort specs instead.
I suggest selling and getting something else!

are the two model springs compatible?
and yah, for a 3500lbs car to feel luxurious and smooth, you need to be
under 500lbs/in (ideally around 400lbs/in). 580lbs/in is still pretty
stiff especially running higher psi on summer tires.

You can contact Tein and they should be able to supply you with a 12kg spring. The valving on most coilovers is good for +/- 2kg and the monoflex is 14kg. I wouldn't get the reg flex, most reviews say the monoflex is a better ride due to the better valving. You will still get a firm ride with a 12kg spring. If you want a comfortable ride I would look at selling the Tein and getting the New HKS hypermax III.
Also I would not mess with the spring preload.
