how-to? front springs install on g35x

how-to? front springs install on g35x

went to do the coupe/z setup today on my x. the rears were a breeze. 30min and done. the front however i can't figure out. the only DIY how to's are of the rwd model and is obviously different than the x. anyone have a how to or pics or tips or anything to help me out. searched through 10pages and got nothing. thanks.

What I would do is take the 3 bolts off top and the big nut on the bottom of the arm. I also think you need to loosen the sway bar to get alittle bit more levrege. Hope this helps.

i tried all differnt ways and i cant seem to get the big bottom bolt out. if i do that it will fall out in my hand.

A friend did mine on saturday, I was amazed that he put my new 350z H-techs WITHOUT removing the wheels!! Hard to believe, and he also did install in an hour lol.

Try jacking up up the suspension alittle to even it out then maybe use a hammer to tap it out.

did it yesterday just needed to use another jack in the right ways to get let the strut pop out/beat it out. i can see not needing to take off the wheels if you use a lift but i don't know how or why you would even try to on the ground. the rears took 1hr total the day before. the pass front 3hrs, doh and the driver front next at 45min. now that i know what i'm doing it shouldn't be hard for the next time.
